Little Lady's Costalot, (Jo-Jo) a grey roan standard gelding born 2008 was bought covertly by my ten year old daughter - we had his mother on our yard whilst he was being weaned! He is a really sweet character and also loves going to the shows. He has lots of Wells breeding and loves to play with the youngstock. In time he will be broken to ride and drive and be a lovely childs pony. |
 | Vixen's Batman, aka Willo' The Wisp, (Willy) was bought by my daughter with her pocket money at the 2009 New Forest Sale, where he called lustily to her every time he saw her go past his pen. In a terribly emaciated state, aged 16 months and blind in one eye, with terrible hoof abscesses and worms things didnt look too good for him when the hammer hovered at £10 with the meat mans bid. Stephie called out in a loud voice that she had £15 pocket money where upon everybody chuckled and the auctioneer asked if she was a serious bidder! Never more serious so the hammer fell unchallenged at £12 and Willy a Dartmoor Hill pony/ shetland skewbald colt will be a much loved permanent resident at our stud. He is now beginning to look like a pony should and loves to play with all the youngsters, his saving grace was his love of children and sweetest equine personality you could ever wish to find. |
New Park Ego, a fantastic little chap aged 20, known affectionately as Grandad. Keeps himself very busy pulling his little pony trap and attending fetes and fairs and showing the youngsters just how it should be done. Is ride and drive and loves going to shows, doing in hand, fancy dress and gymkhanas. |
Jeaodourn Prinz Palo, born 1997, a black standard 42" gelding of Wee waif breeding. Is the best ever lead rein pony, who knows his job with smallies on board. Stops and waits patiently if worried about his rider wobbling and a complete confidence giver. |
